Massey Ferguson to Exhibit its all new Flagship 370 hp MF 8690 Tractor at INNOV-AGRI

Anticipating future demands for cleaner air, greater fuel efficiency and quality engineering

Massey Ferguson is continuing to celebrate its 50th anniversary by exhibiting its most powerful and advanced tractor ever together with its completely new flagship combines at INNOV-AGRI, Outarville, Orléans, France on 2nd to 4th September.

The product of unprecedented and sustained investment in Massey Ferguson, AGCO's global brand, these new machines further extend Massey Ferguson's leadership into top-end agricultural businesses.

Massey Ferguson is now moving forward at a faster pace than at any time in the past half-century. Never before has the brand been so committed to investing in innovative technology to help farmers – from smallholders to the largest agribusinesses – to meet not only the challenges they are facing today, but also those to come in the future.

At INNOV-AGRI Massey Ferguson is adding yet another world first to its lengthy list of landmarks by introducing the first ever agricultural tractor powered by the very latest generation engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) emissions technology.

The new 370 hp, MF 8690 is powered by the cutting edge SisuDiesel 8.4 litre, Citius SCR engine, which is the most advanced design available in any agricultural tractor. The Citius SCR engine is not only the cleanest, most elegant answer to the challenge of meeting future exhaust emissions regulations, it is also designed to be the most fuel efficient in its class.

The all new flagship MF 8690 sets a new tractor benchmark in this machinery sector. Homologated at 370 hp maximum power, it is not only the most powerful tractor that Massey Ferguson has ever built, it also features world-leading tractor technology and significant new advances in every important area of tractor performance.

Massey Ferguson's dynamic innovation in action strategy doesn't stop with the debut of this new tractor. At INNOV-AGRI it is launching significant new advances in harvesting technology.

Four years ago, Martin Richenhagen, Chairman, President and CEO of AGCO Corporation pledged that the company would deploy all the resources necessary to become a world leader in harvesting technology. The latest products of this unstinting multi-million dollar investment and unparalleled focus on the harvesting machinery sector, the Fortia rotary and Centora straw-walker combine ranges will also go on show for the first time.
