Do you have RSS feeds?
we offer an rss feed service http://www.farminguk.com/rss.asp

what is rss?

in a world heaving under the weight of billions of web pages, keeping up to date with the information you want can be a drag. wouldn't it be better to have the latest news and features delivered directly to you, rather than clicking from site to site? well now you can, thanks to a very clever service, rss.

there is some discussion as to what rss stands for, but the majority plump for 'really simple syndication'. put plainly, it allows you to identify the content you like and have it delivered directly to you. it takes the hassle out of staying up-to-date, by showing you the very latest information that you are interested in. not all websites currently provide rss, but it is growing rapidly in popularity and many others, including the guardian, new york times and cnn do provide it.

how do i start using rss feeds?

in general, the first thing you need is something called a news reader. there are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. all allow you to display and subscribe to the rss feeds you want. once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is cut and paste the following link into the reader.

Personal or Farmer/Company
The difference between a Personal account and a Farmer/Company account is that a personal account can not add an entry into the agricultural directory.

You can change your status to Farmer/Company at any time within your account. However if you move from Farmer/Company to personal your directory listing will be automatically deleted.

Advertising on the Background

The background is picked up through the style sheet and is applied to every page on the site.

Our background image is 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high.

But only part of the background is visible depending on the screen settings of the user.

The optimal advertising space is two boxes of approximately 125 pixels wide by 530 pixels deep. These boxes should be positioned at the coordinates of:
Left: X: 45px Y: 300px
Right: X 45px Y: 1495px

The background colour of the site is CECECE. We do not change this colour so your graphics need to be transparent on this colour background.
