Dr Roland Börner has been appointed head of corporate communications for animal health company, Lohmann Animal Health.
Based at the company’s Cuxhaven headquarters in Germany, he will be responsible for internal and external communications, corporate identity and public relations. In addition, he will be head up Lohmann’s marketing department with responsibility for product management, market research, media and advertising.
Dr Börner, who gained his veterinary qualifications at the School of Veterinary Medicine (TiHo) at Hannover, has additional qualifications in marketing. He brings to the post a wealth of experience in strategic positioning and campaigning having held various management positions with other international pharmaceutical companies and a marketing company.
His lists competitive marathon running, skiing and Icelandic horses among his spare-time hobbies.
