Massey Ferguson MF 7600 Series takes top award at Agritechnica Show

The MF 7600 Series has won a prestigious Machine of the Year Award at the Agritechnica Show in Hanover, Germany. The four-model tractor range, which made its public debut at the event, took top honours in the medium to high horsepower category (180hp to 260hp) in the awards from the German DLV publishing house.

The judging panel, made up of experts from DLV magazines, praised Massey Ferguson for not only being pioneer of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), but also for the way it is now taking the next step forward by further improving the system with the addition of a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) in its Generation 2 technology.

"The SCR system is proven to provide increased efficiency and economy and the Generation 2 system leads the way when it comes to meeting the latest legislation," said Florian Tschirschnitz, Marketing Communications Manager, Germany. "The judges also praised the range for being ’typically Massey Ferguson’ - being straight-forward, dependable and easy to operate. Customers can also opt for a choice of specifications and select exactly the right features, from the Essential, Efficient or Exclusive models, to suit their particular circumstances," he added.

Massey Ferguson Brand Development Manager, Campbell Scott said everybody at Massey Ferguson is absolutely delighted to win this coveted prize. "We are honoured to receive this award for the MF 7600 Series, particularly in the year when we are celebrating 75 years of the famous Ferguson three-point linkage system. This is a fitting tribute to the experience that Massey Ferguson brings to the world of farm machinery.

"The MF 7600 Series’ award-winning design combines practical easy to use controls and features with modern styling. With this range customers can choose the Dyna-VT, continuously variable transmission, or Dyna-6, semi-powershift with automatic changing," he added.
