An East Yorkshire farm machinery importer will showcase its new farm machinery range at the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show (YAMS) next month.
Sancton based Manterra Ltd. is the sole UK importer for Unia Group, Central Europe's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery and will exhibit Unia Group's Kos stubble cultivator at the show at York Auction Centre on 4th February.
Manterra founder, farmer and agronomist Andrew Manfield said: "A key feature of the Kos Premium Long Cultivator is that it is semi-mounted, which puts less strain on the tractor pulling it. It also lets the operator optimise the tractor in terms of tyre pressure and ballast, thus improving efficiency and reducing running costs.
"The semi-mounted design also means that the tillage elements can be spaced correctly for maximum effect and allows for eight tines with large spacings between them in a three metre machine. It's a very versatile machine that allows growers to maximize the return on their investment."
Satisfied customer, Mr Gill of North Yorkshire, purchased a Kos Premium Long last year and used it throughout the season said: "I am very pleased with this machine. The quality of work is excellent."
Unia Kos Premium Long Cultivators start at £7,995 for a three metre machine and £9,995 for the four metre machine.
