New Holland has further strengthened its UK dealer network by launching a new partnership with the Burdens Group in Lincolnshire. The Burdens Group, has operated across the area for nearly 40 years, and starts business with the New Holland brand on 1 November.
Burdens Group, with its branches in Sutterton, Wrangle and North Kyme, will supply the full range of New Holland agricultural and groundcare equipment. The dealership will also ensure that customers are well serviced thanks to a team of over 40 dedicated staff, which includes 12 trained Service Technicians.
The Group’s Managing Director, Norman Burden, said: ’One of our key strengths is our solid understanding of our customer’s needs in this particular area, which Burdens Group has developed since its establishment in 1972. The new partnership with New Holland is an exciting new chapter for the group and will enable us to continue to meet the needs of our customers.’
Burdens Group has a long history of supporting the diverse local farming community, which includes intensive vegetable growing farms along the coastal strip with arable farmland and pockets of grassland further inland.
Norman explains: ’This is a very intensive tractor area and our strong service and post-sales offering means that we have developed a dominant portion of market share in the region.’
New Holland’s UK Sales Manager Rob Mills said: ’We are delighted with this new partnership. Norman Burden and his dedicated team have a long and proud agricultural machinery history and are renowned in the area for going the extra mile for their customers.
’We believe Burdens Group will be a real asset to our dealer network. I’m sure customers will appreciate the access to New Holland’s new machines, spare parts and specialist technical servicing and I’m looking forward to seeing the dealership develop.’
