However, Centriquip has the answer. By using its high performance decanter centrifuges, Centriquip can effectively de-water industrial sludge into a 'cake' that can be disposed of more simply, safely and inexpensively to landfall, recycling to agriculture, drying or pelletising, or incineration.
Using the mobile unit allows Centriquip customers to evaluate the technology on their own sites, working on their own applications. It is a fully self-contained, mobile, sludge treatment and evaluation system that allows Centriquip's customers to carry out full-scale trials with immediate 'hookup' to their existing plant. It also provides a valuable back up system to take over when fixed systems require maintenance or upgrade.
The mobile unit includes everything that is needed to treat most types of industrial sludges and reduce them to an easily disposable 'cake'. It is housed in a standard road vehicle and the technology is based on the company's latest range of high performance decanter centrifuges.
The unit comes complete with a fully trained engineer or Centriquip will train the customer's personnel in the operation of the unit. Analysis of the feed, dry solids, polymer consumption and centrate quality allow for comprehensive evaluation of performance, costs and payback. The engineer is also qualified to provide technical advice to customers to help with any sludge handling application.
