Fram Farmers gives an extra £375,000 back to members

Framlingham Farmers has reported that 64% of the group's members have just received a rebate worth more than the cost of their annual subscription.

Rebates are made to farmers according to their individual transactions with the group during the year. Fram Farmers negotiates competitive prices on a daily basis and additional purchasing rebates are made pro rata to the Member's spend at the end of the year.

Ian Caley, the Group Accountant of Framlingham Farmers commented on what the year-end summary means to existing and potential members:

"These results signify real value for money for our Members. This is because, once again, by working in close partnership with key suppliers, we have been able to provide consistently competitive prices on a daily basis as well as retrospective product rebates. These rebates are additional payments, accrued as a result of the overall volumes bought by Fram Farmers on behalf of our Members throughout the year. All rebates are paid to Members according to their individual levels of transaction with the group."

In excess of £375,000 has been returned to Fram Farmers' members in respect of purchases made during 2005. The highest individual sum returned to any one Member was £9,400.
