Animal feed specialist Ufac (UK) Ltd has appointed Dr Donald Lawson as a senior member of the sales team for the north of England and Scotland. He will also be providing technical support on the use of Ufac ruminant, pig and poultry products.
Donald, who gained a BSc at Aberdeen University and a PhD at the University of Glasgow for his thesis on intra-ruminal boluses in cattle and sheep, brings a wealth of experience to this post.
He has held senior research, advisory, sales and nutrition-related roles with feed companies and has co-ordinated research projects and on-farm trials. Early on in his career he was research assistant at the Department of Animal Husbandry at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at Glasgow University.
Married with two daughters, Donald Lawson will be based at his home in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.
