CLAAS has further expanded its range of DISCO mowers and mower conditioners, to give one of the most comprehensive ranges available with 17 models having working widths ranging from just 2.1 metres up to the 14 metre self-propelled COUGAR.
Common to all these new models regardless of size is the well proven CLAAS discbed, with smaller models featuring a straightforward in-line disc bed whilst wider models use a standard disc bed with the new Safety Link system.
DISCO 290
The smallest of the new additions is the mounted DISCO 290, which joins the DISCO 210 and 250 INLINE models launched last year. As with these two existing models, the DISCO 290 is designed for farmers who just want a simple mower that they can quickly hitch-on and has a minimum power requirement of just 50hp.
The DISCO 290 features a 2.9m wide in-line disc bed, with a total of seven discs plus a feed drum positioned at each end to create a well shaped 2.1m wide swath. The mower unit is carried on a robust headstock and features a twin-spring suspension system with tool-less adjustment.
The price of the new DISCO 290 Inline mower is £4,660
