A new British-bred Holstein sire promising high milk and components in addition to powerful type and positive health and management traits has joined Sterling Sires.
Roebridge Commander offers a UK genomic proof with +546kg milk, +25.4kg fat and +17.4kg protein. A cell count reducer at minus 10%, the bull transmits positive stature and chest width, +£376 PLI, +6.9 fertility index and + 1.9 Type Merit (TM).
According to Sterling Sires general manager Simon Gee, the bull is suitable for farmers looking to maintain milk and improve dairy strength. “Commander is for producers looking to breed additional stature, power and width into frail cows.

Commander is sired by Coyne-Farms Jabir out of Navs-SG Riesling VG86 2YO (USA). Riesling is a seventh generation VG or EX Misty Springs Supersonic daughter of Goldie Sanchez Chardonay EX91 who goes back to the renowned brood cow Ralma Juror Faith EX91.
