Acid Buf is a natural ingredient derived from mineralised red seaweed harvested from the south-west coast of Ireland. It contains high levels of calcium and magnesium as well as up to 60 other trace minerals. With its honeycomb structure, Acid Buf is exceptionally porous and has a very large surface area. This leads to increased absorbency of the harmful rumen lactic acid. Consequently, enhanced rumen efficiency is achieved and optimum rumen pH (5.8 - 6.2) is maintained, resulting in improved milk yield, milk butterfat and milk protein.
