Wind energy leader SIAC Wind Energy will join other leading sector players showcasing the latest developments in renewable energy at the Royal Welsh Show to be held at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys, from 18-21 July 2011.
SIAC Wind Energy will exhibit within the Energy Now Renewable Energy Area which is designed to be a ’one-stop shop’ for visitor requirements, with company experts on hand to discuss the options available.
SIAC Wind Energy is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for US-based Bergey, the world’s longest established small wind turbine manufacturer, whose products are renowned for their robust, durable build quality and reliable performance in applications worldwide.
Among Bergey products ideal for agricultural applications is the Bergey Excel-S 10kW Wind Turbine which is backed with a 10-year warranty ’ the longest available in the sector. SIAC will be exhibiting the Bergey 1kW turbine at the show which has been designed with the same robust simplicity as its larger brother.
Patrick Dormon, Managing Director of SIAC Wind Energy, commented: ’We have exhibited at a number of other major agricultural shows already this year and have been overwhelmed by the interest from farmers seeking to harness the free energy available from wind to meet some or all of their power needs.
’The payback time on the investment can typically be just three to five years through the government-backed Feed-In-Tariff scheme which pays for generating electricity as well as any surplus energy sold back to the grid.
’We offer a complete solution combining Bergey products which are well known for their build quality and low maintenance needs, and access to our expert team for all stages of the process from advice on product selection and planning, to installation and getting the most out of their investment.’
