New John Deere dealer appointed in Kent

John Deere has announced the appointment of Burden Bros Agri Limited as its new agricultural dealer for Maidstone and the surrounding area. The family business has opened premises at Church Farm, Church Lane, Stockbury to sell and service John Deere's full line of agricultural equipment.

Dealer principal Dale Burden leads an experienced team, including sales manager Nick Booth, who has spent the last seven years with another John Deere dealership in the area, and after-sales manager Steve Bate, who previously worked with John Deere as an AMPS (area manager product support) in the south-east region. Three fully trained and equipped service technicians are already working in the area and more are being recruited.

The Burden family has a number of well-established businesses in north Kent, including farming and contracting, used machinery sales and the south-east's largest straw and forage merchants operation.

"This appointment is a very exciting opportunity for us," says Dale Burden. "John Deere products are renowned for their quality, performance and reliability. As long-term users of their equipment on our farms and in our contracting business, we know the level of service that customers should expect and be entitled to.

"Working with John Deere's comprehensive range of advanced technology machines, we are confident that Burden Bros Agri will be able to provide the best possible sales, service and parts support to current and future customers in the region."
