• Bruder model of the McCormick XTX165 launched at summer shows
• Initial supplies exclusive to McCormick's nationwide retail dealers
• Two versions – with and without loader; 'live' steering and optional duals
With its fine detailing and excellent finish, Bruder's 1:16 scale rendition of the new McCormick XTX165 XtraSpeed tractor is almost too good to suffer the traumas of sandpit play!
But its realistically chunky tyres, which can be extended with duals using a simple click-on system, and optional front-end loader certainly make it an ideal model for such activity.
This miniature version of the latest addition to McCormick's real-life tractor range also features a fully-glazed cab with opening doors, a lifting one-piece bonnet and front wheels that can be steered using a detachable steering wheel that slots into place through the sliding cab sunroof window.
There is also a drawbar and functioning rear linkage compatible with all trailers and equipment in Bruder's Pro Series.
The XTX165 model will be available exclusively from McCormick dealers initially, priced at £20 or £24 with the detachable front-end loader included.
Both versions will also be available from the McCormick stand at the Royal Highland Show (June 19-22) and Royal Welsh Show (July 21-24) where the latest full-size McCormick tractors – including the real XTX165 launched this year – will also be exhibited.
