This course Is ideal for those with some previous experience of horticulture and combines knowledge and practical work with employment experienceMandatory Units:• Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security of the workplace• Estimate and programme resources requirements for landscaping• Manage your own resources• Provide nutrients to plants and crops• Monitor the development of crops or plants• Plan and manage the control of pests, diseases and disordersWhat qualification will I get?Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 Work-based Diploma in Horticulture (Production)Functional maths and English Level 2How will I be assessed?Assessments are of a practical and theoretical nature and are carried out throughout the course. The underpinning knowledge is also assessed. This can be done by a range of methods including written and verbal assessment. Most of the evidence of competence will be gathered in the workplace.What are the entry requirements?Minimum Level 2 Horticulture qualification or Supervisory Horticulture experience.During this course you will also cover:• Employers rights and responsibilities workbook• Apprenticeship logbook‘Horticulture' covers a wide range of activities and involves the undertaking of practical tasks. There is an expectation that learners will have a reasonable level of fitness.
