PA6 Hand Held & Knapsack Pesticide Application

Course overview
This course has been developed for those who want to apply pesticides using various types of handheld applicators. Your training is assessed through a Certificate of Competence assessment by an NPTC assessor after the course.

This training module deals specifically with a knapsack hand held applicator. Without successful completion of the course you will not legally be allowed to apply pesticides in a professional setting. Please remember, however, that before you can move on to PA6 you must have completed and passed PA1 Handling and Application of Pesticides.

  • Who Should Attend Module PA6?

    Our PA4S and PA4G courses are developed for people who already hold their City & Guilds NPTC PA1 Foundation Module Certificate of Competence. It is for those who wish to take their training further by incorporating the safe use of pesticides through slug pellet and granular applicators.

    To be successful on this course you must be able to read and interpret product label information and calculate formulae with the use of a calculator.
