SMB College Group has a rich heritage as a leading provider of agricultural courses in the East Midlands. For generations, students have gained excellent experience on our 850 acre Brooksby estate, getting hands-on training in every aspect of farming.The vocational delivery of our courses enables you to get the very best out of your time with us. You will leave us 'work ready', having developed a great-skill set in arable agriculture and livestock, by learning the theory in practice, with real crops and real animals.Upon successful completion of this Level 3 course, students may progress onto a Higher Education course, an apprenticeship or into employment within the industry. SMB College Group offers a University level course in FdSc Applied Environmental Land Management. We have very good links with the industry; our Agriculture students have gone on to work as shepherds, herdsmen, tractor operators, agricultural representatives, estates managers and teachers.
