Run by farmer Mark Holberton and his wife Liz, Talton Mill Farm Shop is situated 5 miles south of Stratford upon Avon just off the A3400 in the glorious south Warwickshire countryside, between the villages of Newbold on Stour and Alderminster.
The Old Shop Cafe is on the site of the old mill, with the millstream running alongside and the shop is at the edge of the farmyard overlooking it.
Talton Mill is a rural treasure; a smallholding combining the characteristics of an idyllic country lifestyle with the serious responsibility of providing a genuine source of real farm food for the local community. The ethos of our small organisation is ‘buy when it’s best’, assuring the customer that taste is superlative when produce is consumed at the right time. Key to our success is the management of the farmer-consumer communication which promotes customer awareness of seasonal offerings.
Most importantly, we employ traditional mixed farming techniques which not only produce an unusually broad selection of fresh fruit, meat and vegetables which are available to the public at our on site Farm Shop, but are fundamental to its quality.
