The relationship between Mirius and the UK Farming Community is long established. We have been supplying products that help protect the welfare of livestock, reduce the impact of disease and provide farmers with peace of mind since 1889, when William Pearson, the forefather of Mirius first formulated Creolin TM, the original black disinfectant.

What started with a single product has evolved into a total biosecurity program. This includes a range of cleaners, disinfectants and water treatment products for the ruminant, swine, poultry and aqua sectors. Our driving ambition is to be the number one choice for disease prevention and control solutions across the globe. We aim to do this by providing products that reduce the impact of disease and help our users maintain the health of their herd, reduce operating costs, maintain productivity, and maximise yield.

From our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the heart of the UK we have the capacity to supply over 50,000+ tons of liquids annually, with a weekly bottle production in excess of 1 million. In-line mixing for high volume, coupled with production flexibility means we can supply low minimum order quantities as well as very large volume orders on a weekly basis.

We understand the increasingly high standards of biosecurity demanded by UK Farmers, and we are happy to rise to that challenge. Our products are formulated to perform, and a sign of their quality is the fact that many of the disinfectant products within our Animal Biosecurity range are Defra approved for use in the UK for notifiable diseases.
