Harlow Bros

Our first free range house was assembled in 1927 and since then our manufacturing expertise has been used to build some of the most revolutionary free-range laying houses in the UK.

All Harlow houses come complete with pop hole doorways in the side sections, complying with RSPCA Freedom Foods and Lion Egg regulations.

The internal post layout takes into account the nests, slats, feed and water systems during the design consultation phase. Traditional and multi-tier systems can all be accommodated.

Insulated, manually operated pop hole doors are standard but a secondary internal door can be added to give fully automated and simultaneous opening and closing.

Egg collection, handling and storage takes place in the main store which is lined throughout with a resplendent, white, easy-clean aluminium lining and can be sited at one end or in the middle of the house, distributing the bird area into two colonies.

UPVC windows are incorporated in the collection areas to give an amiable working environment. Supplementary store divisions form insulated egg stores, office space or washroom areas if desired.

Engineered with either timber posted trusses or clear span steel portal frames. Harlow free range buildings are indeed Poultry Houses of distinction and longevity.
