EnviroSystems is best known for EnviroBed®, a hygienic dairy cow bedding made from 100% recycled paper crumble. Dried to 95% dry matter using renewable heat, EnviroBed offers a low-carbon, consistent, and highly absorbent alternative to traditional bedding.
The invention of EnviroBed paper bedding earned EnviroSystems the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, recognising its significant contribution to sustainable agriculture.
EnviroBed is available year-round for self-collection and nationwide delivery direct to farm from Lancashire, Gloucestershire and Yorkshire on artics and 8 wheelers, it is also now available palletised in bags.
EnviroSystems also developed SlurryBugs®, a scientifically formulated slurry inoculant designed to break down crusts, reduce odour, and release valuable nutrients—maximising storage capacity and boosting the fertiliser value of your slurry.
EnviroCare Teat, another product innovated by EnviroSystems, is part of the company's range. This is a naturally derived teat spray and dip certified to EN1656 veterinary bactericidal standards. Suitable for organic use, it contains no harsh chemicals—helping farmers care for teat health while protecting soil and slurry systems.
In 2025, EnviroSystems won Business of the Year (sponsored by the NFU) at the National Women in Agriculture Awards and won The Green Award at the North West Family Business Awards - recognising its innovation, resilience, and long-standing commitment to the UK farming community.
