The Lingham family have been farming Court Farm in Kent since 1871.

Specialising in naturally reared beef and lamb, the Butchery and Country Larder farm shop opened at Court Farm in the village of Upper Halling in 2003.

It offers a wide range of home produced and locally sourced produce, with most of the beef and lamb reared here on our farm within the AONB heritage area of the North Downs of Kent.

Our beef and lamb benefit from welfare friendly farming, GMO free feed, no growth promoters, homeopathic treatment and additive free husbandry and of course, traceability - you know where it's from.

At the Butchery and Country Larder in the Village of Upper Halling, Rochester, Kent, we specialise in our home reared beef and lamb which benefits from our welfare friendly approach.

Our range also includes: locally produced free range pork, venison and chicken, our speciality sausages and burgers, handmade pies and pasties as well as Court Farm bacon from our home cured pork.

Plus you will find our own free range eggs, honey from local hives, jams and pate, pickles, locally pressed apple juices, bread flour from Wessex Mills, freezer packs and our BBQ and Spit Roast Service and of course Jo's cakes.

We are proud to say that we have turned our weekly presence at Kelsey's farm shop into a permanent butchers' counter and delicatessen !

It has been going very well and thank you to Bill and Andree Kelsey for inviting us to be the resident butchery at the beautiful new food retail complex which includes a restaurant and cafe, as well the Play Barn for kids as before.
