We have evolved from a P.Y.O. strawberry field to an attractive eco-friendly cedar clad building housing the Cedarbarn Farm Shop & award winning Café. Its ever growing popularity is partly due to its stunning setting, surrounded by large windows visitors can gaze at a spectacular rural panorama of fruit trees, rows of soft fruit, vegetable patches and table top strawberries..

Shoppers can choose from fresh, local or home grown seasonal vegetables and soft fruits, home-baking, ready meals produced in our award winning café kitchen, fine Yorkshire deli products and a range of local products which are highlighted on our ‘Yorkshire’ wall. Our on-site butchery stocks our own home-reared Aberdeen Angus beef and lamb and a selection of other top quality locally produced meats including ‘Trotters’ outdoor reared pork, ‘Nidderdale’ Chickens & Game from Thornton Dale Estate.as well as other tasty homemade meat products.

In the ‘award winning’ café our ethos embodies good quality; traditional, wholesome food prepared using our own home grown and local produce wherever possible. The menu reflects the farm’s growing patterns - from asparagus to strawberries through rhubarb, raspberries, gooseberries and potatoes, amongst others, while our Aberdeen Angus beef has pride of place on the Special’s board and on our popular Sunday Lunch Menu
