3 Barugh Cottages is a smallholding with welfare and sustainability at its heart. We are proud to produce quality meats and other produce using traditional methods which look after the land and the livestock which depend on it.
Naturally free range
Our free range stock are able to make the most of the spring and summer grazing, only coming in to stable yards during the winter months where they are bedded on straw, fed hay from our meadow and have access to large yarded areas for exercise. The sheep however overwinter on the hay meadow, only needing to come in during the most extreme weather.
Collect from the smallholding
You can collect your products directly from the smallholding. There is a small shop to the right hand side of the drive. We would be happy to show you around so please ask and we are always willing to chat about our stock and answer questions.
If you live locally and are unable to collect please get in touch, we will deliver to your home.
