The Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) is a collaborative venture between the University of Strathclyde, Scottish Enterprise, the UK Government and leading multinational engineering firms.

The £35million facility focuses on developing forming and forging technologies to support the development of high integrity components.

The AFRC is one of 7 elite centres that form the UK High Value Manufacturing Catapult which is the catalyst for the future growth and success of manufacturing in the UK.
