Two Game and Country Shows are returning this October for a day-out filled with excitable hunting dogs, equestrian experts, quality country products & exciting game competitions.
The Suffolk Game and Country Show 12th-13th October at the Suffolk Showground and the Newark Game and Country Show 19th-20th October at the Newark Showground will both host a number of stands, entertainers and attractions, many of which will focus on countryside recreation; Countryman’s Walk is a section of the show dedicated to Country Leisure pursuits where you can buy gun accessories, country apparel, fishing, game keeping and hunting equipment from top companies.
As well as gundog scurry competitions organised by NOBBS you will also find gun dog training displays with Stephen Hood of Dunhamswood dogs, ferreting demonstrations with Simon Whithead of Pakefield Ferrets, a clay pigeon shoot competition, falconry displays, an amusing sheep-shearing show and Dog & Duck Show, a Suffolk heavy horse stand with displays plus Terrier and Lurcher events with Paddy and the Coursing Crew.
Bring your friends along and mingle in our many club and organisation marquees, have-a-go at the clay pigeon firing range or watch a number of great displays in the Countryside Arena. If you love the countryside and its leisurely pursuits, you will love this show.
