For animal interaction, learning through play, exploring nature and adventurous times - it's all here at your fingertips.
The park fuses adventure and education to provide an appreciation of the natural world. The grounds span 80 acres of beautiful countryside and its residents include a wide range of farm animals and other wildlife species. Many of the animals can be handled under supervision.
We have displays of falconry (on weekends and during school holidays at 2.30pm), while the popular, picturesque 1/4 mile river walk (complete with junior assault course) takes visitors on a leisurely guide of the area’s local plants and wildlife.
The park is open every day of the year with the riverside walk closed during the winter due to it being on a flood plain. In winter (November to March) the top area of the park (approximately 30 acres) is open, come rain or shine, providing hours of enjoyment in the large indoor play barn and huge outdoor hard play area (this will be unavailable in snowy or frosty conditions).
Enjoy a cup of coffee in our café and let the children burn off steam. Throughout year we have loads of events to enjoy, from Father Christmas’s huge grotto and reindeer tractor ride to summer camping events.
The number of activities for children is huge and guaranteed to keep them occupied all day, including 5 big slides, a big outdoor adventure play area and undercover play area for wet days and a 1 ¼ mile junior assault course.
