New House Farm is a comfortable farmhouse offering traditional style Bed and Breakfast just three miles from the sea. It is set in the rural Mangerton Valley, near to the farm's own coarse fishing lake. The area is flanked by the beautiful rolling Dorset hills and has an abundance of wildlife.
New House Farm is situated just outside the town of Bridport, which is historically known for its markets. These still take place today - every Wednesday and Saturday and offer a wide variety of goods from food and clothing to jewellery, crafts and bric-a-brac.
West Bay and the stunning Jurassic coastline are also only a few miles away making it ideal for those who enjoy walking, fishing and watersports - not to mention fossil hunting!
Guests can enjoy watching the webcam in the Breakfast Room which shows nesting birds producing and raising their chicks.
We promote local quality foods. Breakfasts are traditional but we try to cater for all dietary needs. There are fresh eggs from our own hens, honey from the hives situated behind the house, and home-made jam and marmalade. We can also provide home-baked breads.
The farm has a large, informal garden comprising an orchard, steep shrubbery, and vegetable garden.
