Step inside this charming 17th-century building to enjoy a new exhibition of Beatrix Potter's original watercolours and paintings
High Slakes is a former farmhouse which provides spacious accommodation for 5 plus a baby. It is situated in a secluded position on the banks of our fishing lake with wonderful views over the Pennines and Lake District Fells.
The accommodation comprises briefly on the ground floor; fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine; dining room; lounge with TV, DVD, mini Hi-Fi; separate WC, conservatory. On the first floor; two large bedrooms, 1 double 1 twin; 1 small single room with 2’ 6’’ bed; bathroom with WC, wash basin, bath and shower. The adjoining barn provides a large space for storage, play or parking the car, the tumble drier is in here. Outside is a large walled garden and a small patio with garden furniture.
The heating is electric storage heaters with additional electric fire and heater and all fuel and electric is included. Bed linen and towels are also included with the exception of cot bedding. Cot and high chair are provided on request.
Pets are welcome by arrangement.
Smoking in the cottage is not allowed.
