The Letton Court Estate

Letton is one of Hereford's ancient villages with a church dating back to Norman times. The estate includes much of the village and land which surrounds it. The River Wye forms the south western boundary to the estate and a brook tributary, known as Letton Lake, runs through the estate.

Letton Court is found to the west of Hereford, a cathedral city with an excellent range of facilities, shops and a mainline train link.

The attractive market town of Hay-on-Wye is 9 miles to the west and is famous for its abundance of bookshops, antiques, crafts, good pubs and the internationally renowned Hay Literary Festival held in May each year. International airports are located at Cardiff (77 miles), Bristol (73 miles) and Birmingham (75 miles).

Public schools of The Christ College in Brecon, Llandovery College, Monmouth School, Malvern College and Hereford Cathedral School are all within easy reach. There is a local primary school in Eardisley and The Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat Comprehensive School in Hereford.

The towns, villages and countryside around Letton Court provide an excellent range of social and leisure activities, with extensive walking including Offa's Dyke and Mortimer's Trail; further afield are the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is world renowned salmon and trout fishing on the Wye both on the estate and in the local area. National Hunt racing is found within easy reach at Hereford, Ludlow, Cheltenham and Chepstow. Golf facilities are available at Brecon and Hay-on-Wye/Kington.
