Situation
Pickedstones is spectacularly situated in one of the great unspoilt landscapes of Exmoor and in the heart of the National Park. The popular and pretty villages of Exford and Simonsbath are close by. The busy moorland town of Dulverton lies approximately 14 miles away and has a host of day to day facilities.
Communications are good with road access to the M5 at Tiverton (J27) or Taunton (J25). Intercity trains depart regularly from Taunton. Bristol and Exeter airports are within easy reach. Exmoor National Park's 267 square miles of magnificent and protected landscape provides a haven for horse lovers and Pickestones is particularly well placed for unsurpassed riding with direct access to the open moorland. Exmoor is also renowned for its recreational and sporting opportunities and is home to some of the finest hunting, fishing and shooting in the country.
