Tong Peal to showcase Caretaker at Cereals 2014

Tong Peal, designer and manufacturer of agricultural handling equipment, will be showcasing the latest version of its market-leading Caretaker grader at Cereals 2014.

The Lincolnshire-based family engineering firm will be on stand B-357-3 for the two-day event this June, where it will be continuing its 80-year reputation for robust, reliable and efficient grading machinery. The Tong Peal staff will be offering visitors the best in local wares too, with Lincolnshire-based Piper’s Crisps and Batemans Beer on offer to visitors.

On display this year will be the Caretaker 2014, which has been designed with high levels of productivity and gentle handling in mind. It can be fully customised to suit individual requirements, handling up to 60 tonnes of crops per hour, and includes an infeed hopper, presentation conveyor, 8 row Easy Clean system and screen sizing module for high capacity and an inspection area.

This is now offered as an option on all new Caretakers with an Easy Clean separating system; the market’s only cleaning separator to feature an electric motor on every shaft to ensure ultimate cleaning control and gentle crop handling.

The Caretaker also comes with Tong Peal’s Blue Inverter Technology, which integrates inverter direct driven motors to increase energy efficiency by as much as 50 per cent, and a SPECTRACON® coating which combines a solvent-based epoxy primer with a high-performance finish layer to provide unrivalled corrosion resistance, excellent durability and outstanding appearance.
