Thousands flocked to the annual Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show

Thousands flocked to the annual Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show to see the latest state-of-the-art farming machinery and technology. The show, which is in its third year, was the biggest yet with 180 stands for visitors to look round.

The show, which is held at York Auction Centre in North Yorkshire, was expanded this year, with 15,000 square feet of space added for trade stands.

In its first year the show, held on the 5th February 2014, had a huge impact on the farming calendar, attracting 100 trade exhibitors and thousands of farmers and visitors.

Richard Tasker, who organised the event, said it offered a ‘fantastic opportunity’ for farmers to view innovative technology that could save costs, produce a bit more in yield and help with diversification.
