A superbly situated, three bedroomed farmhouse near Shrewsbury has been let on an initial 12 month assured tenancy agreement by agents Halls within a week of marketing.

Coppice Farm, Bings Heath, Astley, which is located in a particularly sought after and unspoilt rural area within five miles of Shrewsbury, was marketed for a monthly rent of £850 and attracted interest from across the country.

The charming and versatile farmhouse has a rear entrance hall, utility room, kitchen, dining area, sitting room, reception hall, living room and family bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, including one with an en-suite wetroom.

The house, which enjoys open views over farmland, is surrounded by lawned gardens. The tenancy agreement also includes some farm buildings.

“Coppice Farm attracted a great deal of interest from prospective tenants, which underlines the demand for farmhouse properties to rent in rural Shropshire,” said Gemma Smart, a chartered surveyor based at Halls’ Ellesmere office. “We had 14 viewings in six days from prospective tenants who travelled from different parts of the country.

“It was very unusual for such a well situated and well-appointed farmhouse to become available to rent, especially in this popular area and we had many more people wishing to view.”
