Royal Bath & West executive receives fellowship
Dr Jane Guise, Chief Executive of the Royal Bath & West of England Society has received a Fellowship from the Council of Awards of Royal Agricultural Societies.
She has been honoured for her on-going commitment to Agricultural & Countryside Management.
Dr Guise, an agri-scientist with over twenty years experience in delivering applied science and knowledge transfer projects in both the public and private sectors, is a seasoned project manager, which stands her in good stead in her current role as leader of the Royal Bath and West of England Society.
Professor Malcolm Stansfield, Secretary of the Council of Awards of Royal Agricultural Societies said. "Jane has shown positive leadership to the wider industry and her Fellowship recognises her outstanding continuing input to agriculture & countryside management."
Dr Guise said "I am honoured to be admitted as a Fellow and I am keen to support the work of the Council of RAgS and its awards. The list of those who hold fellowships is somewhat humbling, and through the scheme’s regular networking events I am privileged to meet with many of the current leaders in food and farming, providing access to the knowledge and support which helps me to keep the Royal Bath and West of England Society in good shape.
