Hutchinsons has announced the appointment of Jeremy Macklin as Director of Technology and Innovation. He will join the company on 3rd June and will be based at Wisbech.
Jeremy, aged 52, has held a number of senior positions in the industry of which the most recent was to be responsible for Invivo’s very substantial Agronomy Advice and AgroSupplies business. Invivo is the umbrella business for the majority of the Agricultural Co-Ops in France and it has extensive technical and commercial resources.
Macklin has significant experience in the development and marketing of new agricultural technology and in bringing research ideas and innovations to the agricultural market. In his new role he will work closely with both the technical and commercial teams to help ensure Hutchinsons is the leading provider of agronomic innovation to UK growers.
