Aled Jones, NFU Cymru Milk Board Chairman, will be guest speaker at the next Carmarthenshire NFU Cymru on-farm milk meeting on Wednesday, 12 November, 2014.
The meeting will start at 2.30pm and will be kindly hosted by kind permission of Simon Davies and family, at Brynhyfryd, Hebron, Whitland.
Brynhyfryd is a 300 acre farm which is home to the renowned Castellhyfryd herd of pedigree Holsteins which comprises a herd of 250 milking cows and 250 followers. The meeting will commence with a short farm walk and will be followed by a presentation and discussion with Aled Jones on the current milk price situation and future outlook for the dairy sector.
