Returning to the Livestock Event (Stand LE-365), agricultural ventilation specialists Hydor will have the Rinnai range of condensing water heaters amongst the products on the show stand.
The compact heaters are wall mounted so ideal for applications where space is limited, with internal and weather-proof external models (external models feature forced exhaust to maintain the compact approach) to ensure there is an option for a wide range of farm applications.
Two heat exchangers within the heaters ensure maximum energy efficiency, an important focus with the ongoing increase in energy costs. The exchangers capture residual heat from the flue gases and transfer it into the water being heated. This condensing process delivers up to 95 percent thermal efficiency, resulting in significant energy savings compared to their conventional counterparts and providing a constant supply of hot water. For applications requiring a very large demand for hot water, Buffer Systems are available to provide in excess of 20,000 litres per hour.
Temperature setting is available via DIP switches to a maximum of 85°C, with an integral safety switch which turns off the heater should the water temperature exceed 3°C above its set-point. The heaters operate at low noise levels of 50 dBA and have integral frost protection. They can be connected to a monitoring system, such as a building management system or other visual or audible error indication system, with simple status monitoring based on just three conditions for easier diagnostics.
