Kubota Take Stand at Grassland and Muck 2011

Visitors to the Grassland and Muck Show will be able to see a full agricultural line-up on Kubota’s extensive stand, as well as seeing the machines in action on two separate demo plots.

Throughout the show, Kubota Tractor and Groundcare will be exhibiting 11 machines on its stand, 520, including the M130X and M8540 Narrow agricultural tractors and the RTV900 all terrain utility vehicle.

As well as seeing the machines on the stand, visitors will be able to see them in action, because Kubota is loaning a fleet of agricultural equipment for use on the demo plots. This includes two M130Xs, two M108s and an M7040, which will be used by McHale Limited to power round balers and wrappers, as well an M9540, M8540 and M6040, which have been loaned to Krone to work their tedders and bale handling machines.

The largest machine in Kubota’s range is the flagship M130X tractor, which was unveiled last year and has been designed to provide a real alternative to both ’expensive’ and ’economy’ tractors. It features a four-cylinder 130hp engine, electronic fuelling and engine governing as well as Intelli-Shift 16 Speed transmission with eight-speed powershift and auto field/road modes. It can be further enhanced with the new LA2253 loader, which has a lifting capacity of 2.1 tons to a maximum height of 4.1m.

Alongside this will be five models from the M40 series, spanning 63 to 95hp, including the M8540 narrow, which has been specifically designed for use on fruit farms and vineyards.

Moving into the compact tractor market, Kubota will be exhibiting the L3200, a machine that offers real power and performance for its size, ensuring maximum versatility, productivity and efficiency.

All of these tractors can be fitted with a variety of Kubota-matched attachments and large implements to allow them to handle a diverse range of tasks from ploughing, harrowing and spraying to trailer and front-loader work. And because they are manufactured by Kubota, users are guaranteed optimum performance from their tractor.

Completing Kubota’s agricultural line up will be the RTV900 all terrain utility vehicle, a rugged, all-purpose machine, which can operate both off and on-road, carry significant loads and passengers, as well as powering implements. There are five models available which feature a unique transmission system, advanced automotive type suspension, power steering and 22hp engine. And thanks to its high ground clearance, this four-wheel drive vehicle is comfortable across even the most difficult terrain.

"The Grassland and Muck Show is expected to attract more than 12,000 farmers and contractors, so will provide us with the perfect opportunity to meet with them and demonstrate how our extensive agricultural equipment range can meet their needs," explained David Blackwoood, Kubota’s Sales and Marketing Manager.

"And of course, there’s the opportunity to see how our machines work in a real, farming environments by visiting McHale Limited and Krone demo plots."
