Hydor appoints new personnel

Agricultural ventilation and heating specialist Hydor has strengthened its team with two new appointments.

Simon Rawson joins as a Sales Engineer and Robin Hibberd as an Electrical/Mechanical and Commissioning Engineer. Both will be working on Hydor’s range of environmental ventilation and control systems specifically developed for the agricultural and horticultural markets.

39 year old Simon has a strong background in agriculture, having grown up in the industry and having studied it as a subject in college. He has held prominent jobs in the sector, including setting up a business supplying spare parts to the agricultural machinery market. He has also sat on the British Poultry Council, as well as working for A.B. Agri in the planning and supply chain co-ordination of poultry production. Based in East Yorkshire, Simon will be responsible for the east of the UK and is looking forward to the challenges that his new position will bring.

32 year old Robin has extensive electrical maintenance experience, having trained as an apprentice in Devizes where his experience included electrical work on several farms. His most recent position was as a Senior Maintenance Technician with Vinci Facilities in Manchester, a company contracted to provide 5 yearly fixed wiring electrical inspection and testing. Robin also brings experience working with grain store control panels to Hydor. As a JIB registered approved electrician, Robin will be providing installation, commissioning and on-call support for customers from the company’s Head Office in Downton, Wiltshire.
