Greenpeace plants 1000 trees on dairy land
Greenpeace has re-planted 1000 trees on land near Taupo cleared for dairy farming to highlight the damage the industry causes.
The agriculture sector accounts for about half of New Zealand's greenhouse gas emissions.
The sector, particularly the dairy industry, is under pressure to reduce nitrous oxide emissions from livestock excrement.
