Discover spring grass weed control options at LAMMA

Dow AgroSciences will be discussing spring herbicide options to tackle grass weeds in cereal crops at LAMMA, on 22 and 23 January.

Farmers who have not yet tackled their blackgrass, or who have late drilled cereal crops and small blackgrass plants, have still got time to get on top of weed control this spring.

UNITE (pyroxsulam + flupyrsulfuron-methyl-sodium) can be applied to blackgrass up to growth stage 24. For best results applications should be made as soon as the weather breaks and sprayers are able to travel, providing the blackgrass is actively growing.

UNITE has no following crop restrictions, leaving farmers in control of their rotation, plus controls a wide range of broad leaved weeds such as poppy, mayweeds, cranesbill and others and can be tank mixed with T0 fungicides including chlorothalonil where necessary.

For those who need to focus on controlling other grass weeds, BROADWAY STAR (pyroxsulam and florasulam) is effective against sterile brome, ryegrass and wild oats, as well as an extensive number of broad leaved weeds.
