Stephen Green, Head of Sectors at Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, said: “David brings a wealth of experience in the agriculture sector to a role which will support farming businesses across the UK.

“Agriculture is an integral part of the UK economy. It remains a priority area for us and one for which we will continue to provide financial support.”

David Hannon said: “I’m proud to have been appointed to a role in which I will be able to use my knowledge to work with our experienced agribusiness banking team across the UK. It is important to align our expertise using professionals who understand customers’ needs.
