Ceredigion Farmers discuss CAP Reform

CAP reform will be the subject of discussion at the next meeting of Ceredigion NFU Cymru members set to take place on Wednesday, 7 December 2011.

During the meeting, to be held at Aberaeron Rugby Club from 7.30pm, details will be provided on the recently published CAP Reform proposals and some of the main issues that could impact most on Welsh farmers. Local members will have the opportunity to feed in their views and to help inform the Union’s policy on CAP Reform. NFU Cymru will also outline how it will represent members’ interests to the Governments in Cardiff, Westminster and Brussels throughout the CAP Reform negotiations.

The meeting will also include a brief update on other policy issues including bovine TB, Glastir and Sheep EID.

John Davies, the newly elected Chairman for NFU Cymru in Ceredigion said, ’This meeting is open to all members and I do hope we will get a good turnout. Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to come along.’
