Strengthening the team at EnviTec UK by offering expert technical support for biogas production is Jens Albers.
Based at the company’s Rugeley, Staffordshire, headquarters he will be working closely with UK customers to determine the best design for, and location of, their biogas plants. In addition to ensuring the correct balance of power output according to the farm materials — manure, energy crops, etc — available, he will also help provide information during the Local Authority planning process.
Jens has considerable experience of anaerobic digestion having joined the planning department of EnviTec BiogasAG in Germany in 2006 at a time of rapid company development. He was promoted to the role of technical sales support in 2008 and is now technical sales manager.
Due to the interest and potential for growth in the UK he moved to Britain to provide full-time assistance.
From Emsdetten, near Münster in Germany, he currently lives in Stafford where his spare time hobbies include fishing, swimming, mountain biking and — when the opportunity arises — playing football.
