BTF Partnership offers over 150 acres for sale in East Sussex

BTF Partnership is currently offering for sale over 150 acres of land in a number of smaller parcels across East Sussex.

Tim Crundwell, rural agency manager at BTF, comments: “There are a number of parcels of land in areas where land rarely comes up for sale. They offer purchasers a variety of opportunities ranging from agricultural to equestrian interests.”

Washwell Lane, Wadhurst, is an excellently located plot of 19.69 acres of pasture land ideal for pony paddocks. The land is offered as a whole or in two lots, with lot 1 comprising 11.29 acres and lot 2 including 8.4 acres with a field shelter, feed shed, woodland shaw and tree surrounded pond. Offers are invited in excess of £115,000 for lot 1 and £125,000 for lot 2.

The Powder Mills Land, Battle, is located in a secluded location and yet remains close to Battle town centre. The 29.81 acres of agricultural and amenity land is classified as Grade 3, and a block of woodland and pond provides an opportunity for further clearance and enlargement. There are also a variety of outbuildings including a chicken shed, a stock building and a pole barn. Rights have been granted to lay and connect into the mains water supply. Offers in excess of £225,000.

15.4 acres of unspoiled pasture and amenity land are available in Middle Lane, Rushlake Green, near Heathfield. The land enjoys stunning views down to the South Downs and there is a useful part open fronted field shelter barn. Middle Lane is currently on the market for £180,000.

King’s Standing, Black Hill, near Crowborough, in the heart of the Ashdown forest, offers two separate parcels of pasture land comprising a 27.16 acre plot and a 21.9 acre plot. The first parcel can be divided into two separate enclosures, one of 15.9 acres and the other 11.26 acres. The second includes a naturally landscaped pond set in a tree-surrounded ghyll. Offers are invited in excess of £270,000 for the first plot and £225,000 for the second.

Yew Tree Farm, available as a whole or in two lots, is situated in Hurst Green with easy access to the A21. Lot 1, 5.8 acres, is the southern most field and has metal-gated access off South Lane. Lot 2, 31 acres, is comprised of two gently undulating fields with mains water, a former timber and corrugated roofed animal byre and two mobile shelters (available by separate negotiation). Lot 2 has access via a tree-lined trackway leading from the A21 as well as direct access from the northwest corner of Lot 1.
