Self Catering Farm Cottage

Moscow Farm is situated between the villages of Great Dalby, Little Dalby and Burrough on the Hill, in rural East Leicestershire. It nestles beneath the ancient Iron Age Fort of Burrough Hill.

Moscow Farm Cottage is set away from roads, on a farm track. A comfortable and tranquil stay awaits you. An open plan kitchen/ dining room leads to a comfortable conservatory providing lovely views over the fields beyond. A great setting for wildlife and bird watching.

A pot of tea/coffee and homemade chocolate cookies await your arrival. In fact most visitors settle down in the conservatory before even unpacking their car.

The nearest town is Melton Mowbray,' the 'Rural Capital of Food', which is approximately 4 miles away. Melton is famous for its Pork Pies and Stilton Cheese. In fact Stilton cheese was made at Moscow Farm up until the 1940s.

The owners are very interested in local and family history - why not come and research your Leicestershire & Rutland roots.

The Leicestershire, Leicester & Rutland Record Office is only about half an hour away.
