This old farmhouse has origins going back to the Domesday Book Saxons, Vikings and Romans have passed this way following the ancient trade routes North. The current house dates back to late seventeenth century, but is much more focused on today’s discerning traveller. If you are looking for somewhere special, somewhere with character and warmth of welcome where attention to personal comfort is paramount, then Little Holtby is for you. No detail has been overlooked to make your stay special, all bedrooms are uniquely furnished and decorated with flair with fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers, luxury toiletries, trays with specialty teas ,coffees, hot drinks and mineral waters, biscuits and chocolates, flat-screen TV, DVD, CD and Internet access.

After a day out,relax in the lounge with a glass or cup of something warming in one hand, book in the other or watching T.V.. Then enjoy a night’s sleep on deep sprung mattress on Egyptian cotton sheets snuggled under a cosy down filled duvet and wake up refreshed to birdsong.
