About Us

Holly Meadow Farm is an award winning Bed and Breakfast, which lies in one of the most picturesque parts of Derbyshire. Located a few miles from Dove Dale and the Peak District National Park, the stunning surrounding countryside affords our guests an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy the many attractions that are on our doorstep.

The Accommodation

Our spacious double rooms have far reaching views and en-suite facilities. The period furniture adds to the charm of the accommodation. Colour TV, radio alarm, hairdryer, beverage tray and room refrigerator are provided for your comfort. Ironing facilities are available if needed.

Breakfasts & Places to Eat

A hearty farmhouse breakfast is freshly prepared on the Aga. It includes seasonal fruit, yoghurt and cereals, traditional full English accompanied by Derbyshire oatcakes and homemade preserves. We use quality home grown and local produce.

Local pubs and restaurants in Ashbourne and the surrounding villages offer excellent evening meals to suit all tastes.

The Farm

Why not take a stroll around the farm? We have created gentle walks of different lengths. Your car can also be left at the farm all day and you can go exploring further afield from the front door. Detailed maps and circular walk suggestions are available. We are happy to dry your boots and outdoor clothing if necessary!

For many years, we have strived to provide new habitats for wildlife. A new wood was planted in 1992 and field margins have been created. These, together with ancient woodland and a brook, have attracted over 66 bird species as well as hares, foxes and badgers to this 260 acre working farm.
